Why the conversation matters to us.

BunchTool was built on feedback. The idea for the platform came from our own frustration with online tools that imposed paywalls, required accounts or quietly uploaded files to servers. The 247 tools on the site today reflect months of listening to what real users — writers, developers, students, marketers, designers and business owners — actually need from a free, privacy-first utility platform.

That conversation doesn't stop at launch. A significant number of our tools were directly suggested by users. Our PDF page organiser, the WCAG contrast checker, the crontab generator, the brand colour palette tool — all of these started as messages from people who said "I needed this and couldn't find it free anywhere." If you have a similar idea, we genuinely want to hear it. We maintain a public-facing tool request queue and prioritise based on demand.

We're also human. Tools have bugs. Interfaces have edge cases. If something isn't working correctly for you — wrong output, broken layout on a specific device, an accessibility issue, a localization error — please tell us. We ship fixes fast, and we credit reporters in our changelog. Your message goes directly to the people who build the tools, not a support ticket queue. Typical response time is under 48 hours on working days.

Yes, unconditionally. Every one of our 247 tools is free to use without any file size cap, daily use limit, watermark, forced sign-up or feature paywall. We monetise through non-intrusive advertising that does not track your behaviour across the web. The tools will remain free permanently — that's a founding principle, not a marketing claim.
No. Every BunchTool utility processes data locally using browser-native APIs — the File API, Canvas API, WebAssembly and the Web Crypto API. Your PDFs, text, images and data never leave your device. We have no server infrastructure for file processing. This is verifiable: open your browser's network inspector while using any tool and you'll see zero file-related requests to our servers.

Tell us what task you're trying to accomplish and why existing free tools don't serve it well. We maintain a tool request queue and prioritise based on the volume and specificity of requests. If we build your suggestion, we'll let you know.
Please report it using the bug-report subject on this form or email bugs@bunchtool.com. Include: the tool name, your browser and version (e.g. Chrome 124 on macOS), a description of what you expected vs what you got, and if possible a sample input that reproduces the issue. We triage bug reports daily and typically ship fixes within 48–72 hours for verified issues.
Absolutely — deep links to individual tools are welcome and encouraged. If you'd like to explore a deeper partnership (white-label, API access, educational licensing or sponsored content), please reach out using the partnership option on the contact form. We're open to collaboration that aligns with our privacy-first values and free-tool mission.
Not yet as a public product, but it's on our roadmap. Because all processing is client-side, most functionality is available by reading our open JavaScript source directly. If you have a specific API use case — particularly for enterprise or educational integrations — please contact us via the partnership enquiry option. We'll prioritise API development based on demonstrated demand.

We can provide comment on browser-based tool architecture, online privacy practices, the freemium tools industry and user data handling. Please include your deadline in the subject line — we prioritise time-sensitive press requests.
Most BunchTool utilities work fully offline once the page has loaded, because they use only browser APIs and bundled JavaScript. A small number of tools — such as the currency converter and IP geolocation tool — require a network request for live data by design. OCR-based tools load a WebAssembly model on first use which requires an internet connection; subsequent uses on the same device are cached. If you're experiencing unexpected offline failures, please let us know which tool is affected.
