Character Counts vs. Byte Weights (UTF-8 & UTF-16): A single character does not always equal one byte of storage. While standard ASCII characters (A-Z, 0-9) take 1 byte in UTF-8, multi-byte Unicode characters, emojis (e.g., 👨👩👧👦 composed of surrogate pairs), and accented letters take 2 to 4 bytes. BunchTool counts true grapheme cluster lengths as well as raw byte size for precise technical limits.
Social Media & Search Engine Character Limits: Prevent truncation across major platforms with strict character thresholds: X / Twitter (280 characters), Meta Meta Descriptions (155–160 characters), Google Title Tags (60 characters / 600px), LinkedIn Posts (3,000 characters), and SMS Messages (160 characters per GSM 7-bit segment).
Real-Time In-Memory String Parsing: BunchTool calculates character totals, word counts, sentence structures, and estimated reading time dynamically as you type. All calculations execute locally inside your web browser RAM without server calls or keylogging risks.
